Overview

The Talent Acquisition Partner is a hands-on recruiting role responsible for driving full-cycle hiring with a primary focus on early career talent, while also supporting experienced hiring needs during periods of increased volume. As part of the Talent Acquisition team, this role partners closely with hiring managers to execute recruiting strategies, manage active requisitions, and build strong candidate pipelines. This individual will play a key role in delivering high-quality hires by balancing proactive sourcing, candidate engagement, and efficient hiring process management.

 

This role will support the firm’s early career hiring efforts, including internships and entry-level recruiting, while also contributing to broader team success through overflow recruiting support and targeted sourcing for high-priority roles. This is a highly execution-focused role, ideal for someone who enjoys both relationship-building and hands-on recruiting delivery. This role will work a flexible hybrid schedule from our Portland office. This role requires minimal travel, less than 10% per year. 

You Will

Early Career Recruiting Execution

  • Execute on early career hiring needs, including internships and entry-level roles, aligned with business hiring targets.
  • Screen and assess early career candidates, ensuring alignment with role requirements and firm culture.
  • Support internship recruiting processes, including candidate management, interview coordination, and selection.
  • Partner with the broader team to support intern-to-full-time conversion efforts.
  • Contribute to a positive and consistent early career candidate experience.

 

Campus & Talent Engagement Support

  • Support campus recruiting efforts, including event participation, candidate outreach, and follow-up.
  • Help maintain relationships with key universities and programs through consistent engagement.
  • Represent the firm at career fairs, information sessions, and recruiting events as needed.
  • Assist in building awareness and interest in the firm among early career talent pools.

 

Sourcing & Pipeline Development

  • Proactively source candidates for both early career and experienced roles using a variety of tools and channels.
  • Build and maintain pipelines of qualified candidates to support current and future hiring needs.
  • Partner with Talent Acquisition team members to support sourcing for high-priority or hard-to-fill roles.

 

Full-Cycle Recruiting & Hiring Delivery

  • Support recruiting for early career and select experienced hire requisitions, from intake through offer.
  • Partner with hiring managers to understand role requirements, timelines, and candidate profiles.
  • Drive candidate sourcing, screening, interviewing, and selection processes to ensure timely and high-quality hiring outcomes.
  • Provide a strong candidate experience through consistent communication, preparation, and follow-up.

 

Collaboration & Team Support

  • Partner closely with Talent Acquisition Partners, Talent Business Partners, and hiring managers to align on hiring needs and priorities.
  • Provide support to the broader recruiting team during peak hiring periods, including overflow requisitions and sourcing support.
  • Share insights on candidate trends, pipeline activity, and hiring challenges to inform team strategy.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of recruiting processes and tools.

You Have

  • 2-4 years of experience in recruiting, with a focus on full-cycle talent acquisition.
  • Experience recruiting early career talent (internships and entry-level roles) strongly preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple requisitions and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong sourcing and candidate engagement skills.
  • Ability to build effective working relationships with hiring managers and cross-functional partners.
  • Experience in professional services, accounting, consulting, or similar environments preferred.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with a focus on execution and follow-through.

Compensation Details

The base salary range targeted for this role is $70,000 - $85,000 annually.  This position may also be eligible for a discretionary annual bonus based on factors such as company and personal performance.  This salary range represents BerryDunn’s good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting. If an applicant possesses experience, education, or other qualifications more than the minimum requirements for this posting, that applicant is encouraged to apply, and a final salary range may then be based on those additional qualifications; compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. The salary of the finalist selected for this role will be based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to years of experience, depth of experience, seniority, merit, education, training, amount of travel, and other relevant business considerations.
