Overview

BerryDunn is seeking a Temporary Talent Acquisition Coordinator to join our Talent Management Team. This role is expected to last approximately three months, with the potential to convert to a full-time employee based on mutual fit and evolving team needs. In this position, you will provide critical administrative support to the Talent Acquisition team, hiring managers, and candidates. Responsibilities include candidate communications, interview scheduling, and coordination of pre-employment assessments and background checks.

This role requires strong multitasking and organizational skills, along with a high level of attention to detail and responsiveness in a fast-paced environment. You will work in a flexible hybrid schedule based out of our Portland, ME office and support a collaborative, high-performing team.  There may be limited event-based travel to career fairs throughout the year (less than 10%).

You Will

Key Responsibilities for this Role Include:

  • Interview Coordination - Partner with Talent Acquisition Partners and hiring managers to organize interviews, manage complex calendars, and provide interview materials and schedules to interview panel participants.
  • Candidate Experience – Serve as a point of contact for candidates interviewing with BerryDunn, ensuring timely updates, a professional experience, and a positive reflection of the firm’s brand.
  • System Management – Maintain accurate and up-to-date data in our Applicant Tracking System (iCIMS), including candidate records, requisitions, and status updates. Produce ad hoc Talent Acquisition reports.
  • Partner with our HR Operations team to support the onboarding of new hires
  • Process Improvement – Identify opportunities to enhance efficiency, candidate experience, and recruiter support through process and system improvements.
  • Team Collaboration - Work closely with Talent Acquisition, HR Operations, and Talent Business Partner teams to support broader talent initiatives.
  • Perform various administrative duties in support of the Talent Acquisition function.

You Have

  • Bachelor’s degree and 2–3 years of experience providing administrative or scheduling support within a Recruiting, HR, professional services, or similar environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills required; with a focus on professionalism and creating a positive candidate experience
  • Familiarity with an applicant tracking systems (ATS) or other HR or recruiting tools preferred
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to effectively manage multiple priorities and deadlines while maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail in a fast-paced environment
  • A strong inclination towards technology and a desire to use technology to streamline processes
  • A positive, team-oriented attitude and genuine enthusiasm for talent acquisition and the candidate experience.

Compensation Details

The hourly rate for this role is $25-$30 per hour. This rate range represents BerryDunn’s good faith and reasonable estimate of the possible compensation at the time of posting. If an applicant possesses experience, education, or other qualifications more than the minimum requirements for this posting, that applicant is encouraged to apply, and a final rate may then be based on those additional qualifications; compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. The hourly rate for the finalist selected for this role will be based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to, years of experience, depth of experience, seniority, merit, education, training, amount of travel, and other relevant business considerations.
