This role will focus on providing expert guidance and professional consulting services to state and territory government Health and Human Services (HHS) agencies, including Medicaid agencies. The senior consultant will initially work primarily in the San Juan, Puerto Rico region in a remote/office hybrid capacity. This position will support the client in implementing the Health Information Exchange (HIE)/Health Data Utility (HDU) strategic roadmap, partnering closely with the Puerto Rico Medicaid Program leadership team, the healthcare provider community, payers, and IT vendors. The senior consultant will report to a SGPG HHS principal and will work under the guidance and direction of the leadership team for BerryDunn’s engagement with the Puerto Rico Department of Health.
Travel expectations: Travel outside of Puerto Rico may be up to 25% initially to attend conferences and meetings in other states or territories; however, travel may increase up to 50% if the senior consultant begins to participate in projects outside of Puerto Rico.
The base salary range targeted for this role is $80,000 - $135,000. This salary range represents BerryDunn’s good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting. If an applicant possesses experience, education, or other qualifications more than the minimum requirements for this posting, that applicant is encouraged to apply, and a final salary range may then be based on those additional qualifications; compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. The salary of the finalist selected for this role will be based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to, years of experience, depth of experience, seniority, merit, education, training, amount of travel, and other relevant business considerations.
