Overview

The Manager of Enterprise Applications provides strategic leadership for the organization’s enterprise applications portfolio, with a primary focus on Microsoft 365 technologies (SharePoint Online, Power Platform, Power BI, Power Pages). This role is responsible for aligning technology initiatives with business objectives, leading a high-performing team, and driving digital transformation across the company. The Manager will oversee project delivery, resource planning, stakeholder engagement, and governance, ensuring that enterprise applications deliver measurable business value.

 

This position requires the ability to guide initiatives using both traditional waterfall project management practices and agile, rapid development approaches. The Manager will champion structured delivery for complex projects while also fostering flexibility and speed for iterative solutions through a newly formed rapid development team.

You Will

  • Strategic Leadership: Set vision and strategy for enterprise applications in alignment with organizational goals and digital transformation initiatives.
  • Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and develop enterprise application teams, ensuring effective collaboration across initiatives that follow waterfall and agile methodologies.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Partner with business leaders and department heads to identify operational needs and translate them into scalable digital solutions.
  • Project Oversight: Provide strategic oversight of delivery approaches, balancing structured planning with iterative development to meet business needs
  • Governance & Compliance: Develop, implement, and enforce governance policies, data integrity standards, and risk management practices for enterprise applications.
  • Change Management: Lead change management and user adoption programs for new technologies and process improvements.
  • Performance Measurement: Monitor and report on the business impact, adoption, and performance of enterprise applications.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Represent IT in leadership meetings and cross-functional committees; work closely with other departments to ensure successful solution delivery.
  • Vendor & Partner Management: Manage relationships with technology vendors and service providers as needed.
  • Technical Oversight: Provide high-level guidance on solution architecture, security, and integration standards for Microsoft 365 platforms.
  • Approval & Review: Approve major technical designs and integrations, ensuring alignment with organizational standards.
  • Continuous Improvement: Stay informed on Microsoft roadmap updates and industry trends; recommend strategic improvements to enhance productivity and efficiency.

You Have

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
  • 5+ years of IT management experience, with a focus on Enterprise Applications and Microsoft 365 technologies.
  • Proven ability to manage initiatives using both waterfall and agile methodologies, adapting leadership style to fit project complexity and speed requirements.
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience with governance, compliance, and change management in an enterprise environment.
  • Solid technical understanding and ability to provide informed guidance on:
    • SharePoint Online (site collections, libraries, content types, security)
    • Power Apps
    • Power Automate (process automation and integrations)
    • Power BI (data modeling, DAX, dashboard development)
    • Power Pages (portal customization and external user management)

Preferred:

  • Relevant Microsoft certifications
  • Experience with Azure, Dataverse, or Dynamics 365
  • Familiarity with Agile or Scrum project management methodologies

Compensation Details

The base salary range targeted for this role is $135,000 - $155,000. This salary range represents BerryDunn’s good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting. If an applicant possesses experience, education, or other qualifications more than the minimum requirements for this posting, that applicant is encouraged to apply, and a final salary range may then be based on those additional qualifications; compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. The salary of the finalist selected for this role will be based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to, years of experience, depth of experience, seniority, merit, education, training, amount of travel, and other relevant business considerations.
