Overview

BerryDunn is seeking a collaborative Resource Coordinator to play a pivotal role in our Consulting Team (CT). You will be essential to our new hire planning, orientation, onboarding, and internship program. You will be a key point person for our CT new hires and interns as they orient and get acclimated to their new role. You will join the Consulting Services Support (CSS) Department and work in a fast-paced, collaborative team. In partnership with leadership, CT practice groups, CSS team members, and firm operational departments, your responsibility will be to drive ongoing innovation and improvement in our new hire processes and internship program.

 

This role is perfect for a detail oriented, go-getter who likes working collaboratively and enjoys seeing things through to the end. The ideal candidate enjoys meeting people, leading presentations, and demonstrates excellent verbal and written communication skills. New hire orientation occurs on a bi-weekly basis. The right person for this role must enjoy cyclical work and have the ability to balance and keep track of reoccurring deadlines.

You Will

  • CT new hire orientation:
  • Upkeep of CT employee lists and keep track of and analyze particular people metrics - headcounts, hire and termination counts, turnover rates, and other metrics as needed.
  • Schedule all orientation sessions.
  • Define and prepare new hire orientation agendas.
  • Collaborate with the assigned new hire Paylocity supervisor and reviewer to plan for orientation week.
  • Conduct and facilitate orientation sessions and training.
  • Maintain orientation presentation materials including creating new presentations and maintaining and updating current materials.
  • Prepare charge/non-charge budgets for new hires.
  • Develop and distribute new hire orientation and onboarding communications.
  • Upkeep and analysis of new hire survey results.
  • CT Onboarding program:
  • Orchestrate and support logistical needs of the Consulting Team’s onboarding program.
  • Oversee and collaborate with CT practice groups to facilitate the creation of new hire onboarding plans.
  • Serve as a resource to all new hires to ensure they feel fully engaged and are experiencing BerryDunn as a great place to work.
  • Schedule, conduct, and share key results from 8-week new hire check-ins with appropriate parties.
  • Collaborate with IT, Payroll, Human Resources, Recruiting, and Learning Development departments to support consultants.
  • Maintain and oversee the Time Budget Tracker.
  • CT internship program:
  • Co-lead and evolve the internship program by overseeing all phases of each intern cycle—from recruiting and onboarding to offboarding and offer decisions—ensuring a smooth and well-planned experience.
  • Serve as Co-Chair of the Internship Committee, collaborating closely with members to maintain alignment and consistency across the firm.
  • Coordinate cross-functional efforts by liaising with departments such as Learning & Development, Talent Management, HR, IT, and Practice Groups to support intern success.
  • Plan, schedule, and oversee CT intern orientation week.
  • Plan and manage engagement activities and ensure all tasks and deadlines before, during, and after each intern cycle are met.
  • Additional responsibilities:
      • Assist with CSS team initiatives or other internal projects as needed.

You Have

  • 1-3 years of relatable experience
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience is preferred.
  • Detail-oriented and process-focused, with strong organizational abilities.
  • Capable of managing deadlines and multiple priorities.
  • Experience taking initiative and identifying opportunities to improve processes.
  • Comfortable working collaboratively.
  • Strong communication skills, including public speaking.
  • Effective interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships across all organizational levels.
  • Demonstrates self-motivation and initiative.
  • Proficient problem-solving abilities.
  • Skilled in Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook.

Compensation Details

The base salary range targeted for this role is $64,000 - $70,000. This salary range represents BerryDunn’s good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting. If an applicant possesses experience, education, or other qualifications more than the minimum requirements for this posting, that applicant is encouraged to apply, and a final salary range may then be based on those additional qualifications; compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. The salary of the finalist selected for this role will be based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to, years of experience, depth of experience, seniority, merit, education, training, amount of travel, and other relevant business considerations.
