Overview

Our State Government Practice Group (SGPG) is seeking an experienced Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system implementation project manager to assist our Project Manager across the Human Resource Management (HRM) and/or Financial (FIN) workstreams on behalf of our state government client in the State of Nevada. You should have experience managing teams and efforts to implement large-scale ERP solutions (e.g., CGI, Oracle, Workday, and/or SAP) and be willing to work in the Pacific time zone.

General travel expectation: 50% travel to the client site in Nevada is required (and for future projects, once this project ends).

You will apply your knowledge and experience to support our state government client in implementing its chosen ERP system (CGI Advantage 4) through helping to both support and direct the HRM and/or FIN workstream teams (depending on your skillsets/experience) comprised of state agency staff, working in collaboration with state HRM and/or FIN leads and our BerryDunn HRM and/or FIN Project Manager. This will require providing advice and guidance to our state government client and working in collaboration with the ERP system integrator (SI) vendor (CGI) and our BerryDunn-assigned team. You will bring a mix of expert-level project management capabilities, exceptional organizational and self-management qualities, strong leadership and teamwork capabilities, and effective written and verbal communication skills.

You Will

Responsibilities

As an ERP System Implementation Deputy Project Manager, you will:

  • Support the delivery of services to our current and future state government client(s) on time, within scope, and within budget, including assigning and managing the state government and BerryDunn HRM and/or FIN workstream project teams and creating project work products.
  • Serve as deputy project manager to our current state government client, and as deputy project manager or project manager for future state government clients across the countrysupporting client work and deepening our team’s experience and knowledge.
  • Develop project deliverables for our current and future state government client(s).
  • Communicate project and delivery status to our clients, team members, and other interested/involved parties—including the facilitation of client meetings.

As an SGPG team member, you will:

  • In partnership with our internal team, respond to state government opportunities related to ERP systems and other enterprise-wide systems.
  • Develop appropriate relationships with ERP/enterprise system Solution Integrators (SI)/Providers in the state government market.
  • Collaborate with other groups within our firm that can bring ERP/enterprise system knowledge.
  • Participate in marketing and business development activities, including writing blog posts and leading and participating in prospective client business development meetings.

You Have

Qualifications

You have:

  • Three or more years’ experience managing large teams and overall efforts to implement large-scale ERP systems (state government experience a plus) in either the HRM or FIN functional area (or both).
  • Demonstrated experience working with ERP systems/products (experience with CGI Advantage a plus).
  • Knowledge of quality assurance/control procedures and demonstrated proactive problem management skills.
  • Experience facilitating meetings and public speaking with large groups.
  • Proficiency in all Microsoft (MS) applications.
  • Ability to balance multiple assignments and achieve quality results in a timely manner.
  • Current PMI/Scrum/Agile or related certifications are preferred.
  • Knowledge of various SDLC methodologies and related processes/artifacts.
  • Demonstrated critical thinking and logical reasoning skills.
  • Ability to use problem-solving and root-cause analysis skills to identify project risks/issues and develop/communicate recommendations to address them in a constructive manner.
  • Ability to build and sustain positive working relationships with diverse teams.
  • Ability to draft client-facing reports/communications in a professional/constructive manner.

Compensation Details

Compensation Details

The base salary range targeted for this role is $80,000–$130,000. This salary range represents BerryDunn’s good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting. If an applicant possesses experience, education, or other qualifications in excess of the minimum requirements for this posting, that applicant is encouraged to apply, and a final salary range may then be based on those additional qualifications; compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. The salary of the finalist selected for this role will be based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to, years of experience, depth of experience, seniority, merit, education, training, amount of travel, and other relevant business considerations.
