Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and accomplished Manager to lead and drive the Enterprise Applications team, a pivotal unit within our organization. As a leader of the Enterprise Applications team, you will manage our strategy and the governance of Microsoft 365 technologies—including SharePoint Online, Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate), Power BI, and Power Pages. With responsiblity for the design, development, governance, and continual enhancement of business applications and portals, you will deliver innovative and scalable solutions for the company ensuring alignment with the organization's strategic goals and digital transformation initiatives.

 

You will bring strong leadership and people management experience to a team of dedicated team of developers, analysts, and administrators, fostering a collaborative and innovative environment while mentoring team members to achieve their full potential. You will collaborate with business stakeholders across the enterprise to understand operational challenges, translate them into efficient digital solutions, and ensure the applications and tools developed meet both immediate needs and long-term organizational objectives.

 

By managing the architecture of SharePoint, overseeing the lifecycle of Power Apps and Power Automate workflows, and implementing both custom and out-of-the-box solutions, this role ensures that the Enterprise Applications team remains at the forefront of technological innovation and process optimization. You will report to our IT Director and sit with the Enterprise Applications team. This will be based at either our Portland, ME; Bangor, ME; Manchester, NH; or Waltham, MA offices.

You Will

This position is essential in driving the adoption of modern workplace tools and maintaining the integrity, functionality, and security of enterprise applications. Responsibilities will include:

  • Lead the development, implementation, and governance of Microsoft 365-based solutions.
  • Partner with business stakeholders to translate operational needs into scalable digital solutions and ensure on-time and within-budget solution delivery.
  • Manage and mentor a team of developers, analysts, and administrators working with Microsoft technologies.
  • Oversee and guide SharePoint architecture, site structure, permissions, and content management.
  • Manage the lifecycle of Power Apps and Power Automate flows across departments.
  • Design both custom and out-of-the-box solutions with a focus on security and risk management.
  • Maintain and enforce governance policies, data integrity, and standards.
  • Create workflows, custom apps, and dashboards to automate manual processes.
  • Integrate Power Platform solutions with third-party systems using APIs and connectors.
  • Oversee UAT testing, user training, and documentation for new solutions.
  • Provide strategic oversight for system issue resolution, including the management of service tickets and escalation processes for complex incidents.

You Have

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in IT management with a focus on Microsoft 365 technologies including:
    • SharePoint Online (site collections, libraries, content types, security)
    • Power Apps (Canvas and Model-Driven Apps)
    • Power Automate (process automation and integrations)
    • Power BI (data modeling, DAX, dashboard development)
    • Power Pages (portal customization and external user management)
  • Proven ability to lead and manage teams and projects from problem solving to change management and stakeholder management.

Compensation Details

The base salary range targeted for this role is $135,000 - $155,000. This salary range represents BerryDunn’s good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting. If an applicant possesses experience, education, or other qualifications more than the minimum requirements for this posting, that applicant is encouraged to apply, and a final salary range may then be based on those additional qualifications; compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. The salary of the finalist selected for this role will be based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to, years of experience, depth of experience, seniority, merit, education, training, amount of travel, and other relevant business considerations.
