Overview

BerryDunn is seeking a SharePoint Developer to join our growing Information Technology team. The SharePoint Developer works under the direction of the Enterprise Applications Manager and the Director of Information Technology to design, develop, implement and provide administrative support to the functional SharePoint online collections and tools created to help automate our business processes. Our ideal candidate will be an organized self-starter and have a demonstrated desire and ability to effectively solve complex problems, manage multiple priorities, proactively maintain systems, and respond to requests in a timely and professional manner. This position is planned to sit in our Portland, ME, Bangor, ME, Manchester, NH or Waltham, MA offices, or remote.

You Will

  • Architect and Administrate SharePoint security frameworks for systems supporting inter-organization collaboration on highly regulated data
  • Develop or implement document management features within SharePoint Online
  • Develop and maintain automations for technical and business processes
  • Migrate data within and between SharePoint and other technology systems
  • Extend and integrate SharePoint sites with other M365 services
  • Work with the IT Trainer, SharePoint designer to create high quality and branded automations, tools, and systems
  • Assist with term store design and maintenance, meta data design, and search optimization
  • Work with application owners to ensure development and service improvements are meeting the needs of the application users
  • Ensure a consistent and easy to use interface for the portals, intranets, extranets and digital workplaces
  • Design and implement electronic forms and custom workflows for SharePoint systems
  • Work with internal and external developers as needed
  • Assist with the implementation of intranet, extranet and digital workspace governance and development standardization
  • Other projects and duties as assigned

You Have

  • 5 or more years of SharePoint administration experience
  • Strong PowerShell, PowerApps, PowerAutomate, PowerBI, PowerQuery, Logic Apps
  • Experience with SPFX, ShareGate, SharePoint Designer, MS Flow, & SharePoint master pages
  • Experience with document management systems and concepts
  • Experience with Microsoft Internet Information Services (IIS), .NET, C#, HTML5, JavaScript, CSS and jQuery, SharePoint Designer, Visual Studio, VSCode, Git
  • Experience working on high security collaboration sites and security frameworks
  • A demonstrated desire and ability to effectively solve complex problems, manage multiple priorities, proactively maintain systems, and respond to requests in a timely and professional manner.
  • Must be ethical, detailed oriented, self-starter, eager to learn, and have excellent communication skills.

Compensation Details

The base salary range targeted for this role is 105,000/yr - $125,000/yr. This salary range represents BerryDunn’s good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting. If an applicant possesses experience, education, or other qualifications in excess of the minimum requirements for this posting, that applicant is encouraged to apply and a final salary range may then be based on those additional qualifications; compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. The salary of the finalist selected for this role will be based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to, years of experience, depth of experience, seniority, merit, education, training, amount of travel, and other relevant business considerations.
