Overview

BerryDunn is seeking a Senior Consultant/Project Manager to join our Local Government Justice and Public Safety Consulting Practice. You will participate on and lead project teams across the nation focused on business process improvement, system planning and selection, organizational change management and system implementations that include court/prosecution case management systems, motor vehicle (driver and vehicle) systems, public safety technology, and/or correctional offender management systems. You will report to senior leaders in the Local Government Practice Group.

 

Travel Expectations: Approximately 50% travel to client sites is anticipated in the future to support projects.

You Will

  • Lead and support delivery of services to clients on time and within budget, including assigning and managing staff, creating work products, and reporting on project status
  • Facilitate meetings and interviews with client stakeholders at all levels of the organization
  • Track project risks, action items, issues, and decisions
  • Develop proposals, staffing plans and budgets for new business
  • Participate in staff/team meetings and training and work effectively as a team player on multiple client projects
  • Participate in marketing and business development activities, including writing blog posts, attending conferences, participating in industry groups, leading/participating in prospective client business development meetings, reviewing Requests for Proposals (RFPs) and assisting with go/no-go decision-making, and developing responses to RFPs in collaboration with BerryDunn’s Business Development team

You Have

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Eight years’ professional experience working with technology solutions that support delivery of justice and/or public safety programs in one or more of these organizations: Government Agencies, Department of Motor Vehicles, Courts, Department of Corrections, Police Departments, Sheriff Offices, or District Attorney Offices
  • Four years of project management experience including large system implementations
  • Experience facilitating meetings and public speaking with large groups
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, analytic, problem-solving, and organizational skills
  • Proficiency in all Microsoft applications
  • Experience managing challenging projects and serving clients
  • Advanced degree, PMP and Prosci Certifications preferred 

Compensation Details

The base salary range targeted for this role is $120,000 - $130,000 annually. This salary range represents BerryDunn’s good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting. If an applicant possesses experience, education, or other qualifications in excess of the minimum requirements for this posting, that applicant is encouraged to apply and a final salary range may then be based on those additional qualifications; compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. The salary of the finalist selected for this role will be based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to, years of experience, depth of experience, seniority, merit, education, training, amount of travel, and other relevant business considerations.
