BerryDunn is seeking a Senior Consultant to join our State Government Practice Group, focused on serving our state Health and Human Services (HHS) agency clients. As a Senior Consultant, you will have the right mix of demonstrated data governance, data quality, data conversion, and data integration knowledge, skills, and experience, exceptional organizational and self-management qualities, strong leadership and client-facing capabilities, and effective written and verbal communication skills. You will have 5+ years working with and/or for state government agencies for HHS programs (such as Public Health, SNAP, TANF, Behavioral Health, Intellectual/Developmental Disabilities, Child Care, Child Welfare, and Aging), and you will be comfortable working in many different environments within state government. You will serve as the senior analyst and subject matter expert on projects, including performing data-related tasks and developing data-related deliverables. Data-related certification and IT, management consulting, and project management experience is preferred, and the right candidate will be comfortable working with clients on IT- and policy-related projects. Experience with business development (e.g., writing proposals for new projects) and staff development is also preferred as these are important aspects of this role.
You will be based in one of our physical office locations or remotely, and you will report to the HHS Practice Area Lead Principal.
Travel expectations: Travel can range up to 50% depending on client and project needs.
The base salary range targeted for this role is $120,000 - $135,000. This salary range represents BerryDunn’s good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting. If an applicant possesses experience, education, or other qualifications in excess of the minimum requirements for this posting, that applicant is encouraged to apply and a final salary range may then be based on those additional qualifications; compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. The salary of the finalist selected for this role will be based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to, years of experience, depth of experience, seniority, merit, education, training, amount of travel, and other relevant business considerations.
