Overview

BerryDunn’s Medicaid Practice Group is seeking a Digital Media Intern.  As part of our consulting team focused on state Medicaid agency clients, you will leverage problem-solving skills and develop project management skills while leveraging your creative skills to help Medicaid agencies improve the health and lives of individuals. You will be the success partner for Medicaid agencies in building healthier communities and stronger futures.

 

This position is based out of our Oahu, HI office, in Kapolei and we're looking for a Fall semester start.

 

Your initial focus will be helping edit training content for our Hawaii client. You will report to and partner with senior management in our Medicaid team both for client work and career development. With a growth mindset, you will drive your development with the support of a learning and development culture.

You Will

As a Digital Media intern with our Medicaid Practice Group, you will perform the following responsibilities:  

 

  • Partner with more experienced consultants to build relationships with project team members, including client contacts, stakeholders, and vendor contacts.
  • Initially partner with our teams supporting our work in Hawaii (you may also support Medicaid projects in other states)
  • Edit long-form and short-form content for a variety of platforms
  • Collaborate and communicate with our training team to implement client and team feedback
  • Adjusting audio to provide the best quality possible
  • Adding subtitles and branding to all videos and ensuring all final files are complete and organized
  • Lead and optimize our video production workflows and workstreams
  • Work in a fast-paced environment alongside skilled professionals
  • Participate in staff/team meetings

You Have

  • Active enrollment in a degree program in Communication, Creative Media, Digital Media Arts, Digital Media Production, Digital Visualization and Communication, Telecommunications, Television Production, or related business program
  • Availability to work a minimum of 20 hours per week during the duration of the internship session and possibly longer
  • Legal authorization to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.
  • Strong analytical, communication (written & verbal), and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft programs (Work, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)

Compensation Details

The base salary range targeted for this role is $25 - $30 an hour. This salary range represents BerryDunn’s good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting. If an applicant possesses experience, education, or other qualifications in excess of the minimum requirements for this posting, that applicant is encouraged to apply and a final salary range may then be based on those additional qualifications; compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. The salary of the finalist selected for this role will be based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to, years of experience, depth of experience, seniority, merit, education, training, amount of travel, and other relevant business considerations.
