Overview

Are you ready to join a team dedicated to improving the employee experience? The Culture and Engagement Team at BerryDunn seeks a dynamic, hands-on HR professional to help lead several important components of the employee experience. Have a good handle on benefits administration? Let’s talk. Passionate about retention strategies? So are we. Like to keep the pulse on what’s happening in an organization? You’ll get that chance. Adamant about diversity, equity and belonging? You will thrive. Have ideas? We’re all ears (and actions).

This is a full time position based out of our Portland, ME headquarters with hybrid work options.

Responsibilities

The Role

Employee benefits play a key role in differentiating our firm. You will steward all things benefits – from plan design, to conducting all-important enrollment/orientation sessions, to one-on-one benefit consultations with employees, to ensuring compliance with all applicable laws. If it’s benefits-related, it’s all you. This position holds a variety of administrative tasks and strategic opportunities but all of the work is important.

As a key ambassador of our culture, you will personally welcome new hires through our virtual orientation programs and onboarding tools. First impressions matter, so an upbeat, positive, proactive, collaborative and organized HR professional will be ideally suited for this role. Lasting impressions matter too, so you will lead our stay and exit interview processes designed to gather actionable data to improve the employee experience. This is an area where your data analytics skills will be put to good use.

We continue to build out our human capital management platform. This role will be instrumental in driving employee and manager adoption of HRIS capabilities including self-service, data and analytics, and reporting.

It’s fair to say that you will dabble in many other aspects of the employee experience including guiding and coaching employees and managers in tier-one HR inquiries, lending your vision on policy reviews, offering your support for firm-wide initiatives, and so on.

You Have:

  • Sucessful experience helping employees set up and navigate all firm benefits, including insurances, policies and our 401k plan
