Administrative Assistant

The Administrative Assistant provides administrative support to tax professionals and is primarily responsible for processing tax returns and client deliverables.  Additionally, this position provides overall office support that includes a wide variety of duties.  The person will be accustomed to a fast-paced, goal-orientated environment. Candidates must be punctual, dependable, reliable, flexible and available to work seasonal overtime including some evenings and weekends. The right candidate must also demonstrate superior client service skills, be a team player, and work well independently.


You Will:

  • Edit, proofread, and assemble correspondence
  • Scanning documents
  • Assist tax processing staff with mailing organizers and tax returns as needed
  • Assist technical staff with various tasks
  • Maintain client files, both physical and on network
  • Prepares and coordinates tax group meetings and trainings
  • Special projects
  • Backup coverage to receptionist
  • Process client billing
  • Assist office manager with projects and office event planning


You Have:

  • Minimum three years proven succeess experience supporting a team to ensure the smooth running operation
  • Good planning and organizational skills
  • Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills
  • Professional appearance and manner
  • Computer literacy, specifically MS Word for windows
  • At least two years of previous experience in office management
  • The person in this position frequently communicates with team members and customers. Must have the ability to communicate accurately and clearly both orally and in writing
